M ore
than just a boarding facility-custom-designed boarding accommodations
and personal attention are only a small part of the services Paw Prints
Animal Hospital, Inc. offers to you and your pet.
Paw Prints Animal Hospital, Inc. is the "NEXT BEST THING TO HOME".
We
strive to create an environment similar to what your pet is accustomed
to. Your pet can have its favorite toys to make him or her feel right
at home. Paw Prints Animal Hospital, Inc. also allows your pets' own
blanket and bedding to help them feel at home.
Our kennel staff pays attention to the needs of all the animals,
whether it be more blankets to the arthritic dogs, special flooring for
the dogs with lameness issues, or no blanket for those chewers.
(Note: Paw Prints Animal Hospital, Inc. is not responsible for lost items.)
High
quality care and rigid standards of cleanliness are maintained through
strict daily hygiene programs. Note: Despite our rigid health and
hygiene standards, Paw Prints Animal Hospital, Inc. can not be held
responsible for disease or parasites your pet may come in contact with
during or after boarding at our facilities.
We do not let dogs play together without the
permission of both owners. Please specify if you know another dog that
is coming in and would like to have play time together.
Tender Loving Care (TLC)
Let us pamper your pet! Our TLC program provides the special attention
all pets need and allows you to design your pet's stay around his
personal needs. TLC helps reassure newcomers, satisfy pampered pets,
exercise active pets, and helps geriatric boarders get their joints
moving. Your pet can be brushed, walked, exercised or petted as often
as you specify. If your pet can't be at home, shouldn't he or she be at
Paw Prints Animal Hospital, Inc.!
Feeding
Meals
are served according to owner’s specification. Feeding is at 8 AM and 5
PM but your pet can be fed at whatever time he or she is accustomed to
eating. Clean food and water bowls are provided. Boarders
are fed premium quality pet food, available in both dry and
canned. A fresh bowl of water is always available.
Special diets can be fed if supplied (refrigeration and microwave
heating is available). Your pet can also be fed his regular food if it
is supplied.
Medications
Special
medications can be administered to your pet by the trained veterinary
staff, if supplied. There is a daily fee for administering some
medications, such as ear or eye medications and antibiotics. However,
vitamins and heartworm preventative are administered at no additional
charge. A daily checklist is used to monitor your pet's appetite,
elimination, and medication. Prompt changes in diet or environment will
be made to assure maximum comfort of your pet. Enjoy your vacation
knowing that your pet is safe with a trained professional staff of
caregivers under the immediate supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
Should your pet become ill during boarding,
the doctor on duty will be notified and your pet will be examined
immediately. Medical treatment will be started to insure the health of
your pet until you return to either give permission for further
treatment or take your pet to your regular veterinarian. We ask that
you leave us with an emergency contact number where you can be reached
in the event that any medical attention is required.

Rates
are charged by the number of nights stay with the exception of Sunday
which is 1/2 day. Dropping off early in the morning or picking up late
in the evening during regularly scheduled hours will not cause an
additional charge. All fees must be paid before a pet leaves the
facility. Clients wishing to leave a pet for an extended time may be
required to make periodic payments during the pet's stay, or leave a
deposit.
Reservations and Deposits
A
reservation must be made to guarantee a space for your pet. During
holiday seasons reservations should be made six weeks in advance. A
deposit is required to confirm these reservations. This deposit must
arrive TWO weeks prior to the scheduled reservation. New clients are
required to come in TWO weeks prior to their boarding reservations to
fill out paperwork and leave a deposit. A TWO day cancellation notice
is required to claim a deposit and is also appreciated, even if not
claiming a deposit.
